Houston, We have a problem!

Hi everyone! This email is gonna be short, time is very very limited today. Yesterday at church, my eye started to get really irritated and swollen and now, we are headed to the doctor because the mission nurse thinks it's a sty. It hurts!!!! But, thank goodness for modern medicine, haha.

This week was Insane! I had my first zone conference this week! It was so amazing and I saw Sister Green!!!!! Now I just need to see my MTC companion, Sister Skinner.

We saw lots of miracles this week!

I love being a missionary. This week was really hard for different reasons, but I'm grateful for those experiences. I think this week, it finally feels like home here.

Oh! I ran on the treadmill for 20 minutes on Friday!! I was so proud of myself.

We needed to call the Elders for something this week and Elder Lu said, "Next time you have a problem, call me Houston." Will do Elder Lu. Will do. 

We were about to go to forums on Tuesday when we got a text from President Bednar telling the State College area to stay inside. There was a series of severe thunder storms rolling through and we were to get to shelter and stay there immediately. We were at the branch building and it was clear, hot, and humid outside. Not 20 minutes later were we experiencing crazy winds, lightning, and sheets of rain. The power in the building kept coming on and going out. SO FUN!

The English class sign was destroyed by the storm!

Oh, congratulations to my bestest friend in the world, Kayla Lightheart! She's getting married to the marvelous Garett Poncho this Saturday and I couldn't be happier for both of them. Love you!
